I just purchsed this car a 1994 c-280 with the rare burnt orange leather interior. i love the car except for its hot now and the heater is always blowing. It stops when i turn the climate control sytem off and on when i turn it on. all the vents work like they should. But the system will not stop blowing hot even when i turn it all the way cold. Someone please help me with this problem im burning up today its 95 degrees here in the stl today. thanks, tony

Check the a/c compressor to be sure it's working by the switch on the panel, then if it is, be sure the refrigerant is up to par.
Sounds like an a/c switch, compressor, or refrigerant problem but hard to diagnose here on the web. Any good a/c place can check it for you fairly easily.

It is hard to understand if your heater is stuck full on, or your air conditioning is not working.
If it is an AC problem, the answer will not be found here from your description. Go to an AC shop.
If your heater is stuck on, you can make an emergency 'repair' by pinching off your heater hoses. A C clamp, or pair of vice grips will do that for you. The proper repair will likely need to be made at a shop.

I had a 190E that did this. It had a refrigerant leak and needed to be repaired then topped up. I doubt your heat is actually on. More likely the system is trying to cool the car and will operate at max fan speed and will use outside air(which sounds very hot). Coyote may have a point--make sure you pushed the A/C button on the dash to the correct position. Turning the sytem off and on will not engage the a/c switch--only the separate dash switch does that.
If we're dead wrong visit a a/c shop.
