Default Getting Dizzy while driving!

Hey Folks,

New to the forum, I own a 2002 c230 Kompressor, 2 door. I have noticed a smell while driving and prolonged headaches. I have a leak in the exhaust manifold that is blowing carbon monoxide into the passenger cabin while I drive. My car is out of warranty and I have tried to fix this problem several times with different solutions. Does anyone know how I can fix my issue besides replacing the manifold? I can drive with the recirculating button on and blow just recycled air into the cabin, however after a while the button disengages itself.

Getting high in Charlotte, Barry

If I were you I wouldn't hesitate, get the manifold replace. Even small amounts of carbon monoxide over time will cause brain damage, prolonged headaches, is a warning. You are playing with your life here.
The recycled air button is working normally, but you won't be if you don't get the leak or leaks fixed ASAP. A word to the wise, etc

Or push the black button on the overheard console for the O2 mask?

i nearly believe it, but am not convinced the CO could really enter the cabin

the A\C got multifunction sensor or smog sensor which closes the recirculation flap if the outside air quality is bad.
