Default Fuel Filter

The fuel filter is 2 filters in 1 . One side is for the vent lines and the larger is the the actual fuel filter. I want someone to replace the large lines with an in-line filter "3/8 " and plug existing filters line. This should make side of the road changes easy and cheaper . Let me know if my reverse engineering tip works.

I myself would not do that.
"Side of the road" fuel filter change? Why would you need to do that when the thing only needs to be replaced
every 65k or so? I'm lost here. Help me out.
