Can anyone help or had a similar experience? My 2003 C200k Merc as developed a problem concerning the lights. Last night the alarm went off and after resetting (opening & closing the door with the remote),and not long after, the lights started to flash periodically. It would stop after after a while. No alarm, just the flashing.

Could it be the key fob batteries need relpaceing or is it more serious / diagnostic test required?

 

The rear sam unit is integrated with the ATA module there were some problems with the rear sam in the c-class W203 models 2001-2005 . its located in the trunk the remote batty wont cause this only not open the door or arm/disarm car but you can d this by inserting the blade key in drivverside door and locking/unlocking car . best to read codes see whats triggering alarm if anti tow sensor have it version coded out in the rear sam
