Discolored/foggy lenses
I was wondering does anyone know of an easy and not terribly expensive way to clean/fix discolored foggy lenses on the headlights of a 2003 C230 Kompressor coupe? It appears to be just the outside shell, maybe from sun damage? The discoloration is yellowish and foggy. Any tips would be greatly appreciated it!
Try Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish. $8.00

Yes, that product will work. You may need to spend a bit more time with it than if you had a buffing wheel, but it will work. Here in Arizona, this yellowing of the headlights is very common. Many of the car washes will do it for a fee, but all they do is use basically the same stuff and they have a small buffing wheel to do the job faster. It's sunlight that yellows them. There are "kits" you can buy that have the polish and a small buffing wheel meant to use on an electric drill, but I have done it without a wheel. Good luck.
