I have a 1997 E320. My headlights have developed a film on the outside of them. Does anybody have any recommendations of the best way to clean these? Am I better off cleaning them or buying some new ones?

I've heard there are some cleaning compounds that would work, but take a significant amount of effort and time.

lens may not be available or sold separately.

if the discoloration affects the whole material, replace it.

if only from the outside, polish it.
