Question Diagnostic Report

Hi, I'm a new member, and one that is not really tech minded or a hands on petrol head. But I'm quick to catch on and an avid consumer of knowledge/info...especially info that can assist when it comes to visiting a garage for potential vehicle repairs..eye's open and all that. Anyway, can anyone help with the following. I have and still am experiencing running problams with my 2001(Jan) C240 (Petrol). The problem normally manifests itself the first time the car is turned over in the mornings..hot day or cold day. It sometimes happens twice in the day. It is basically very sluggush..almost straining/labouring..can get to 3k revs and still only be doing 20 - 30 mph..for a few hundred mtrs.. then every thing kicks with a surge or sometimes not, and everything is ok.

So I had a Diag done and the print out is showing the following:-
  • P2004 B2/5 (Hot Film MAF Censor) (P0100) Stored
  • P2016 Self - adaption of mixture formation for right bank of cylinders is at limit value (at part load) (P0170) Current and stored
  • P2085.. print out the same as above, but, for left bank of cylinders. (P0173) Current and stored
  • P2050 Misfiring, damages TWC (P0300)
  • P2051 Misfiring of cylinder 1, damages TWC (P0301)
  • P2053 Misfiring of cylinder 4, damages TWC (P0304)
  • P2055 Misfiring of cylinder 6, damages TWC (P0306)
The car has recently been serviced..new plugs, air, oil filter, oil.

That's it for now..apart from air con not working..but will post about that next time. I guess what I'm looking at here is....big bucks!..hope not..Please help

Many thanks.
