Default correct temp gauge reading for 05 C230 Kompressor

My temputure gauge reads at just over 80 when my car is warmed up. Is this correct? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Yep, that would be about right. Mine had been reading just below 80 the last couple of months and I was getting an annoying CEL (coolant temp low). Well finally made it to the dealer to replace the thermostat which had been stuck open. Now reading just above 80.
