I have a 1999 C280.The car has a problem with the central computer. At any given point in time it doesn't recognize certain things in the car. It usually doesn't bother me because it will be the seat adjuster, power windows or audio system, but right now it is the AC refrigeration and I live in Arizona.

I took the car in to a shop and they said they couldn't do it because teh AC was working fine and the fluid levels were plenty high, it just wasn't getting the signal to cool the air.

My questions. How much will this run me to get fixed? Is this a common problem with the C280s? And is there any tricks taht people know of to get stuff to start working with this?(for about 2 months my car didn't have radio and then one day it just kicked in)
