Default Check Engine Light

Code PO170, Fuel Trim Malfunction...

What is fuel trim

Where do you look first in troubleshooting the cause of this code? Reset once, came back two days later.

PS Holy ****, that 2008 C-Class is beautiful!! I'll take the V6 CDI Anybody know what engines are bound this way?

Default RE: Check Engine Light

If you read lots of MB discussion boards, this code is most commonly caused by a problem with the MAF/Mass Airflow Sensor. Do some research on this. You may be able to just clean it with some CRC MAF spray or you may need to replace it. I would try the spray first for $6 at Pep Boys. Simple to uninstall and reinstall.
