i'm searching online for the driver side power window control switch unit. I found that MB updates part numbers w/ the newer models even though they say it should fit for my 2001 just fine, so the part number that i was looking for: A 203 820 01 10 isn't recognized in the MB catalog.

instead, i had to search by model & make now it's asking what the chassis range is....(A 407163 or F 299404)<-- what is the difference?

Will the window switch control from a 2003-04 work as a replacement for my '01?

the first pic can be use, but it got child safety lock, and yours got none.

never base on the year model, but on the part number only. (anyway, yours is Sept 2000 model).

yes, switch from later model can be use for as long as the part number is the same.
