You Should Flush the Brake fluid at the same time..Look at www.mercedesshop.com under Fastlane/partsshop they have great prices!

Make sure that you are provided with shims also depending on the pads that you buy.

Default Changing front brakes?

Hi there, I have new front pads for my mercedes c230k as well. I went to change them out and I believe that there is an allen type of wrench that is required in order to get the pads out, do you know what tool is needed? I changed my rear pads in a half hour, no problem, front is a lot different. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

You'll need a 14 mm open wrench for the calipers, a full set of sockets for the rotor/caliper retaining bolts (cant remember the size) and an allen keyfora bolt that holds the rotor to the hub. You will also need to bleed the caliper, andremember to disconnect the wear sensors b4 you undo the front calipers.

Quite easy, use the $600 you save on labor and buy a $50 socket set from home depot, it should include all the sockets and allen keys you'll need, but not the open wrench
