The CEL came on in my 2006 C230 Sport recently. There's absolutely no change in performance or fuel mileage that I can detect but I'd like to check it out. Can anyone tell me where the OBD II connector is located? I looked under the dash but didn't see anything obvious. Any suggestions on a good, inexpensive OBD II reader that can read and reset the codes?

OBD II connector is located under dash around steering wheel. It is covered with plastic lid.
Go to the AutoZone for free scan and ask them what scanner you should buy.
