I have a 1999 C230 and the CD player recently stopped working. There is a full magazine but when I press CD button the message "magazine empty" appears. Can anyone out there help me? and also is there a reset button or something?

make sure nothing is in backwards or the cd label is on the wrong side or something simple like that.

 

I have a 1999 C230. I read many threads about this topic in this forum and others, and want to share this suggestion worked for me - hold the (in the trunk, at the CD magazine holder) arrow botton down for 10 seconds. The CD magazine released and got it out of the holder.
