I need a CD Changer in my car, '98 C230 (since it didn't come with one but has a button for CD in the radio/cassette panel), and I am about purchasing one; I was trying to locate where the connector for the Changer cable is but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where I should look in that model? I am assuming the Changer itself will be positioned in the trunk but how do I run the cable there? Please help. Thanx.

 

I've been told that the connector for my 1994 C280 is in the trunk above the passenger rear wheel well. Perhaps on your '98 C230 it may be in the same place? Try looking behind the trunk panels in that area.

Question: Does the 1994 C280 use a non-fiber optic CD Changer? I've seen several on E-Bay but have hesitated to buy one becasue I have no idea what CD Changer Model # I am looking for.
