I have a mercedes c220 cdi 2002. Over the past 2 weeks i have been experiencing a start up problem. When the temperature goes bellow 0 C the engine wont start. The engine dosen't even try to crank. This has now happened 3 times, i have to wait a day or 2 and the car will then start normally most likly because its a warmer day.

My glow plug indicator light also stays on for about a minuet after engine start if i can get it started. before engine start it comes on and goes off as per normal. I assume this is what is causing the problem.

If any one has experienced this issue any guidence on how to get this fixed will be much appriciated.
