hi,can anyone help ive got a mercedes c180 it was running then i parked it up and when i went to start it a week later it wouldnt start?! a few people have tryed to start it now but ive taken it to a garage and they have told me theres no compression?!! what could this be it was running fine the engine mangement light came on for about 10 mins before i turned the car off

 

could be broken timing chain will just turn and not fire up is there a spark at leads even if it has no compresion it should still try to start splutter etc as long as there is fuel and spark
