CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE C230K 2000 HAS A CABIN FILTER? I HAVE THE STANDARD TEMP CONTROLS NOT THE ELECTRONIC. THANKS JD

 

W203 or a W202 Chassis or rounded lights or the older square ones?

I know the W203 is right hand side of engine bay under the front wind screen/shield under the plastic cover. above the battery - behind suspension mounting.

W202 - I got no idea - but there are planty of girls and guys on here that will post.

i have the w202 with the rounded headlights. i read where the models with the dial temperature controls don't have a filter. then i saw something to the effect that they all have one. i don't want to start pulling things apart if i don't have to. thanks for responding. joe d

 

you have a w202 they have the square headlights

 

If you really have a 202, you have a cabin filter inside the car and need to look here:

Super Easy to replace
Drop down the black plastic panel covering it all up
Passenger side
Near the knees, below the glove box
Slide back the two white tabs
Rotate forcibly the nasty Cabin Filter
Thoroughly clean the Filter Cabin with Isopropyl Alcohol
Reverse everything.
Sometimes its a bear trying to get the Filter back in
Its how its rotated. Hard to explain but you'll see what I mean.
