C300
I'm not seeing any c300s on the road where I live. They have been out since March of 08. Seeing one in traffic among other cars is important to me before I buy one.
Also I am having the hardest time picking out wheels for the car; I don't what I will do with the stock 7 spoke wheels. They might actually look ok on my old 190.
The C300 looks very much like the new Hyundai Genesis, except the Hyundai has 150 more horsepower. So Ishould expect teenagers will stomp me in traffic at every opportunity.

I would go with the AMG 5 spoke like on the C350 but in 19's. As for the Hyundai Genesis you have to remember no matter how much they change the appearance it's still a Hyundai. They may have improved their quality "but" it's still a Hyundai.

C280 sport, I am taking your advice and looking at other cars...Most everything out there, except mercedes, feels like you could punch a pencil through the body, or handles like a horse and buggy.
What is your issue with your own 2000 C280 sport? I think it is a nice looking car.
As for the C300, If I get stuck with those 7spoke wheels, I suppose I could put them face down in the yard and use them for planters.

No real issues with my 2000 C280 Sport. It is a good little car. It has been reliable for me. It is much higher running cost then my E320 and 420SEL. Its just a lot of stupid isues that go wrong with it.(AC made funny noises, lught bulbs keep going out after being replaced, interor rattles, BAS/ESP light kept comming on, fuel sending unit, hard shifting and sqeaky breaks.) It is nice looking car having only done 75,000 miles so far but I feel that it is not up to par with the W203 C Class. The only things that bother me about this car are:Too small, Interior is cheap looking, Uncomfterable seats, sterring is too tight and the drivers position is horrable. W202 are a good little car but I just feel like they could of and should of done more with it. My opinion I would forget the C300 and go with a couple year old ///AMG. That way you are getting a better car and not loosing soo much as far as depreciation. You can pick up a wonderfull W210 E55 AMG very very low miles for about mid 20k. Or even a newer C55///AMG.
