NO, flushing is when you hook a machine that through pressure cycles out old fluid and replaces with new fluid. Draining, is simply draining and refilling. As mentioned above, flushing is usually used on applications where one cannot empty the the torque converter. I hope this helps.

By the way, had to update and make a correction on my previous post. I was talking with my dad yesterday about the article to see what I left out. Anyway, he said he thought he remembered the transmission pan bolts being torx. I argued, but if he is right what a brain fart on my part. Just thought I would throw this in. If someone is going to do themselves you might want to have some torx sockets around just in case.

Default 2005 C280 -- Vibrations on a hard turn

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2005 C280 4-Matic which has about 66K on it. I have recently noticed that when I make a hard right turn that a vibrating sensation takes place. Does anyone what could be causing this. From one person I am told it could be something relating to transfer fluid, but am not sure if this could be correct.
