The mfg warranty is almost up on my 2004 C240. Does anyone have two cents on purchasing the extended warranty?

 

GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY... I AM GLAD I DID ON MY 240... I JUST HAD THE FAN MOTOR REPLACED ($700) AND NOW I NEED MY DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK FIXED. I HAVE A $100 DEDUCTIBLE ON MY PLAN. GOOD TO 75000 MILES. EXT. WARRANTIES AVERAGE FRO $1500 TO $2500. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT. MB REPAIRS ARE COSTLY.

 

I strongly agree. Paid for itself time and time again on my 05 C230 K.
Supercharger and alternator went after mfg. warranty expired.
You can only imagine the cost.
There was NO deductible on my mfg. warranty to 100K miles.
I wouldn't own a Mercedes without it. I know....I know....opinions vary on this, and I typically
would not buy one, but somehow I just knew when I bought the thing that the peace of mind
would be worth it if nothing else. And, wow, was it ever.
