C240 A/C Fan not working
Just yesterday my fan for my A/C stopped working. I'm pretty sure it's just the fan--it's been making a whistling noise for a little while, and I can turn on the A/C, but it doesn't blow out the vents. It's very cold air, but it's not moving anywhere.
Can my regular mechanic do the work, or is this a "dealership only" type of fix?
If it IS a DIY, does anyone have a step-by-step of the fix?
It's 90 degrees here with 98% humidity, and I'm dying to get this fixed. Thanks for any help!

remove passenger dash under panel. should be 3 torx screws, then youlll see the blower motor box. 5 torx screws then the cover comes off then 3 or 4 more torx screws to remove the blower and regulator. easy. just have to spend some time on the floor on your back.
The blower fan is working properly on all speeds. It just squeaks persistently. Anybody know how to stop this annoyance. Does it need to be replaced? If so can I do it? (Curious and tired of the noise.)
