C230 Sport Oil Change

RE: C230 Sport Oil Change
You can do a "search" here on this site to get an idea what is involved to do it yourself. Type in "oil change" and take a look.
If it doesn't seem like something you want to do yourself, you can always take it to an independent garage of your choice and
maybe save some money. Keep in mind that if you do it yourself, if you don't have a way to suck the oil out of the tube under
the hood as the dealerships do, then you will have to get under the car, pull the belly pan off, and do it by removing the drain
plug. It's no big deal, but just extra work and time. Also, the filter is in a canister in the engine compartment on these cars. You
will have to remove the cap and replace the cartridge-type filter and three O-rings at that time. Again, no big deal. The O-rings
come with the filter as a "kit". Hope this helps you in deciding what you want to do.
