C230 Sport
Wife has a super clean, low mileage C230. Since I am now in charge of washing, waxing it has come to my attention that MB uses some very dusty brake pads. I spend lots of time, cleaning those sharp looking wheels of all that crummy brake dust.
I assume this is for the sporty nature of the car - are gripier pads dustier by nature??
Do they have a less messy brake pad? Or some sort of product to minimize the dust?
On the plus side, the car cleans up amazingly well. Tremendous paint finish and a very impressive sport sedan.....not sure about the $800 thermostat and the $800 -lets only replace one side- fuel pump, but......unreal road feel.

Hello and welcome to the forums! What year is the C230? I'm happy to suggest some brake pads that give off less brake dust and also attach a link to our site's DIY tech articles to help with any future maintenance or repairs. Lastly, I'm attaching a link to an amazing product that will get the brake dust/dirt off immediately and very easily. Please let us know if you have any questions!
