C230 Hatch opening

I have a 2003 C230 Coupe. Is there a way to adjust the latch so you don't have to pull as hard to get the latch to release. It seems like you have to pull quite hard before it releases. Thanks

I had that problem a while back. The handle is most likely broken, should be a cheap fix at the dealer.
