I have a 2007 c230 sport, it was running 100% awesome. then i tried to start it one day and it would not turn over... brought it to the dealer who said it needed a new fuel pump.. they did that.. then they said it needed a new fuel injector... and they replaced that now they are saying all the injectors clips need replacement too..

has anyone heard or know of this? i dont understand how it was running fine then boom all these things were broken with no warning no performance or starting issues? am i getting a run around or is this all possible?

 

They are giving you the runaround. It is fairly easy to test for proper operation of the fuel pump. There is a test that it turns on, a test for pressure, and a test for volume. It sounds like they are not diagnosing your problem properly or at least not putting forth the effort to test everything the way they should. Fuel pump, then injector, then clips? The tech working on your car just doesn't have a clue I'm sorry to say. It is possible one of the connectors for a fuel injector could be loose, but it would still start with only one injector out. Ask them to prove to you they got the car to run by jumpering the faulty injector connector. (How else would they know the connector was bad.) Tell them looks don't count. (The connectors might look bad.)

As a mechanic and shop owner myself I say find someplace else. They aren't treating you right. Good luck.
