Default C230 Engine Flood?!?!

I have the A.T. C230 and when I floor it the acceleration lags after like 8 seconds of holding down the gas the car will start to move and when u switch gears or it autos them it does the same thing slow shifting. But if u turn off the car it will reset itself and act like new!!! It will also do this if I drift the car and slid it in the rain etc... I found two wires touching them selfs on the fuel rail on the injector, could that have shorted something? Or is this a safety feature? Please help it makes me mad I can't do a burn out lolzzzz... Shut off the ESP. The car will not allow what you want to do because traction control takes over. As a warning don't forget to turn it back on or your in for one heck of a ride through turns.
