Default C220 (W203) vibration through pedal

Hi.

I have a C220 (W203) which is vibrating through the pedal under braking. I have replaced the pads and discs three times already and every time I do the vibration goes for about a month and then comes back.

It doesn't vibrate when driving, only when braking.

I have had my ABS system read by a local garage and they say there are no fault codes in there.

They have also checked the suspension on shaker plates and we can't seem to see a siginificant amount of play in anything.

I currentlt have Textar brake discs and pads as I was informed these are some of the best I can get.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

curious if you ever got this resolved. If the problem is only under braking it would suggest warped rotors. have you replaced both front and rear rotors?? seems odd the problem would go away and then come back.

I also think that the rotors are causing the problem.

I believe the problem is your rotors. I had the same issue where I installed new front rotors and after a few weeks I had bad vibrations when braking at 40-60 mph, not so bad above or below those speeds. I measured the rotor run out and they were 7 thousandths off on each side of the rotor. I had them resurfaced and the problem was gone......for a few days! I remeasured the rotors and they were 1 thousandth run out on each side on both rotors. I put them back on but still go the same vibration on braking. I then took the car out and did hard braking for about 20 minutes and remeasured the rotors while they're hot and now the run out are 5 thousandths! The metal in the rotors were so soft that they warped (got them at Amazon for $40 each!!) I then bought new Balo rotors and no more vibration, they are about $70 each from Amazon.
