C220 CDI Sport Coupe - Winter performance
Hi,
I recently read some complaints about the snow & ice performance of this baby.
More to the point, I'd like to know if any of you have experience with driving a C220 CDI Sport Coupe (diesel, automatic) in winter. The one I'm getting is a 2006 model, but I guess they're all pretty similar.
Some people mention overdrive/winter mode, but there seems to be no such thing on this car. The gears available are P, R, N, +D-. There's also a C/S selector next to it, which I was told refers to comfort and sport respectively.
Is the snow performance of this car so abysmal as some reviews suggest, or it's more the case of inexperienced/reckless drivers? What do I need to know?
Please share your thoughts and tips.
