Folks,

Silly question perhaps but I couldn't find the answer in the manual.
Just bought a 2006 C220 CDI SE Coupe (diesel, automatic) and the dashboard doesn't have any controls for folding the mirrors in/out, so I take it isn't not possible to fold the mirrors electrically. Is it possible to fold them manually though to keep them out of harm's way (when parked on a public road, etc)?
I gave them a good push but there;s quite a bit of resistance and I didn't want to risk snapping them.

Any help is much appreciated.

 

I have a 2002 C230 Sport Coupe and it does NOT have folding mirrors They were not an option. With a little bit of force they can be folded manually.
Perhaps by 2006 folding mirrors were added???
