Since a new battery was fitted to my C180 1996 it often will not start and both green and red lights come on when the remote is operated. If you do get access to the car, it will not start. If i disconnect the battery and reconnect it may work once or twice but runs rough. Any ideas?

 

two different problems.

first change the remote key battery.

then check for the rough engine running.

you need to read the fault memory.

 

I will change the remote battery as you say. Engine was running smooth as silk immediately before hand. Will check back soon. thanks.
