had multiple warning lights come on. EPS, ABS, EPS off, and engine light. pull a C0034 code that indicated that right front speed sensor was bad. replaced that sensor but I cannot clear the code in the vehicle. all warning lights still come on and the Attention Asst is inoperable. any ideas?

I had this problem on our 2014 Mercedes GLK350. I ran through the various possible causes that I saw on various Mercedes forums. I had just about decided that I needed to replace the right front speed sensor. Just before I got around to replacing it my wife disengaged the override window switch. It is a switch just below the window switches on the driver side door. When the switch is engaged there is a red light. The other window switches are disabled. When she disengaged the switch the check engine light went out, all the ABS and stability lights went out. The cruise control works again. In short the car is back to normal. Who would have thunk that this switch had anything to do with ABS.

 

It was normal until yesterday. The same symptoms appeared. I pulled the code, C0034, came up again. I will start akk over. The first thing I checked was the window lock. It was not engaged.
