Angry Battery problem

I have a mercedes c class coupe 2012
I am having battery problems
It seems to keep losing charge in a couple of days and won't start unless I jump start it and it starts fine.
I thought it was a battery dying problem and just bought a brand new one
I put it on yesterday and it started straight up lovely
Went out this morning and car won't start no ignition lights nothing, dead as a dodo. Put meter reading on battery and it read 4.4 volts
Something is draining my battery very quickly and I cannot work it out
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Default Just an idea?

Hello,
I saw on youtube where a smart key can drain car battery.

I am going to start doing this myself. Better safe than sorry.

Also, it's pretty funny, I JUST NOW saw this on a Mercedes group I belong to on facebook, here is another idea? Someone was saying they had a brand new battery drain overnight, and another member posted this.

Check to make sure when you leave your car that the outside lights don't keep flashing once you're out of the car every once in a while cause. I'll drain your battery cause it'll just keep doing it till it's a dead battery and if that's the case your alarm lights are flashing like that. Then it's your alarm thing that's in the trunk. That's bad. It's shorted out or it got wet. But my battery kept dying like that and I stood there 1 day and realized that my alarm lights or the lights on the outside the car were flashing all the time without me even in the car and I'm near it and it did it until the battery drained.

Don't think that can be it as I have my car in an enclosed area in back garden and it has not been locked as I thought the alarm would drain the battery if left for a while
The lights outside the car are definitely not flashing
But thanks for heads up
It is a real mystery
