My wife recently bought a 2010 C300 with a std RADIO/CD player. On the right wall of the glove box is an AUX JACK which, according to the manual I must see my Mercedes dealer about activating. Using the Idiot **** on the console I can access a menu in CD mode that has CD - RANDOM - AUX as the selections. If, however, I select AUX and have my MP3 player plugged and playing, in I get absolutely no audio.

Do I really have to pay the stealer to activate this or am I missing something? This has had me bugged since she got the car 2 months ago.

 

On my 05 after installing and when I use my aux input I need to hold down the CDC button on my radio until aux input is comes up do you have this CDC button try it let us know

We just purchased a 2007 C280 and am trying to determine where my AUX input is located (if I even have one). When I push and hold the CDC button the display shows AUX Active. Any idea if this means that I have the aux input or is this something I need to have installed. Any help is appreciated!

You have to install it.

 

If you look in audio visual under there is a (I just install aux. etc ) read it instructions how to find the plug on right side of car and part # to buy and install
