Default Aftermarket Aluminum Pedal Covers

Greetings! I recently purchased an aftermarket AMG brushed aluminum pedals kit from www.formymercedes.com - this is a four piece kit (parking brake, footrest, gas pedal, and brake pedal). I was able to install 3/4 pedals myself, but I am having a tough time with the brake pedal. I took off the stock rubber brake cover and learned that the actual brake pedal is made of fairly thick metal. In addition, it appears that the brake pedal is fairly complicated to remove. This being the case, I tried to drill a hole with the brake pedal in place. Besides being at a difficult angle, I broke my drill bit quite easily. At any rate, I hoping for some advice that might make this install a little easier. Worst case scenario, I will have the guys at the local MB shop install at my next service, but I'm sure that won't be cheap. Comments welcomed!
