I am planning on replacing my stock 15" rims and tires with 16". This may be kind of a silly question, but will the change in tire size affect the accuracy of my speedometer or odometer? My guess is that it will have a negligable affect, but just curious if anyone has had experience with this issue.

It depends. If you intend to use a lower profile tire to keep the overall diameter of the wheel and tire the same, the speedo won't know the difference. However, to get the exact dimentions the same is probably not possible. The closer you can get the better off you'll be. BTW, as long as your makeing the change, the '99 C280 can accept 17" wheels w/o a problem. If it were me, that's what I'd consider. Check out this wheel size calculator
