ADVISE ON BRAKE PRICING
Hey fellas, I been a long time lurker but just now registered.
I am changing my front rottors and pads and I called my local dealer and was quoted prices:
$114.00 each rottor
$92.00 pads
$11.02 sensor unit
are these prices OK or is there some other place that I could save some money purchasing these parts. This is my first time changing the rottors so I don't know if these are fair prices.
any advice will be appreciated.
Thx
C.

RE: ADVISE ON BRAKE PRICING
Actually, those prices are pretty good from a dealer. You can get these parts a bit cheaper on the web, but
assuming those are the cross-drilled rotors that came on your C230K, that's not too bad. There's only one sensor, but
you knew that. It's on the right front of that car. On the web, the sensor is about 8 bucks, so not too bad. Prices on
pads are all over the place but if these are premium pads supplied by your dealer, they should be good.

Tough to say if those prices are good, don't know what care you have, for example that would be high for a C230 coupe or a 2003 C230 sedan. If you want genuine MB parts in a blue box, google trademotion mercedes and there's a few online MB dealers for parts, gives you list price and their price.
