97 c36 transmission problem

hi,

is there such a thing as "safe mode" for this trans? the car will only shift upto 2nd gear. can this be a mechanical problem, bad sensor or computer? thanks for all your help.

C36, nope.. when it doesn't shift usually your tranny is in need to do overhaul.
