Just bought 94 C280, one owner car. I had the battery checked, it was good, but the alternator was only putting out 12.49v . I was told it should be 14 or more. I alternator looks brand new, very clean. Could there be a problem somewhere between the alternator and the battery?

Not likely if they tested the output voltage right at the Alternator!
