300CE Hood Latch

The piece that pops out of the grill upon hood release of my 92 300CE has snapped off. Any ideas on how to open the hood?

yup pop the hood from the inside then look into the hole that the piece that poped out or . you will see a lever in there get a hook tool (wire hanger) and pull it the hood will open
