Am preparing my 2003 240 for the first winter. What's the road handling like in the snowfor this car? It currently hasMichelin MXV4 plus XSE 205/55/R16 tires on. ie. Do I need snow tires?</P>

I just installed a set of the Conti-Extreme Tires on my wifes C230 and they are awesome. If you go to the tire rack's web site you can read the reviews on these tires and see just how many people rave about them. You really can't see the tires all that well in the pictures but if you go to the photo section of this forum, click on jetforeman, you can see the tires and wheelsthat I put on her car. They are a 205/55/16 as well.

 

hey my mom has a 2001 mercedes benz c240 id get snow tires, the car is awful in the snow.. unless u have 4 matic, also try to keep your car clean even during the winter, make sure the dirt does not damage ur undercarage or paint.
