2012 C350 cdi - Wipers Not Working
Hi, I went to my car this morning and the wipers wouldn’t work. Not had a problem with them before.
I tried turning engine off and back on etc. and then leaving it on for a while but no luck. As I had topped up the washer bottle last night I opened the bonnet, everything looked fine so I closed it again.
Then the wipers worked… Is there a sensor on the bonnet that won’t allow the wipers to work if it’s not closed properly?
If there is, why don’t they mention this in the manual? When I opened the bonnet it released as normal and I didn’t have any ‘bonnet open’ warnings on the dash, so I potentially have a sensor issue.
