Hi,

I need to take my 2009 C300 in for its 20,000 mile maintenance and was wondering whether I need a schedule A or B maintenance. The dealer said that they would know once I bring the car in - but since there is approximately a $300 difference, I wanted to know which one to do.

Also, since the car is running fine, can I get away with a schedule A maintenance?

Your computer should tell you. I fyou Mobil 1 oil has a 10,000 range then you will need a B-Service. If at 20K you've never had a service they will probably do an A but whichever you do now, you'll have to do the other at the next service - it alternates.

if car came in to my shop where i work we would do an A service [ oil change with filter and check whole car out if air filter replace ] but @ 20K this is all you should need.
