Hello all--first post on this site!

I had a question--the stainless trim that is attached to the front door molding has come off (clips are gone).

I have contacted the local dealer and have been informed that the clips are not sold sperately, nor is the stainless trim piece, and I would have to purchase an entire new molding assembly.

This seems ludicrous to me, as I still have the stainless trim piece (undamaged), and all I need to do is replace the seven clips that secure it to the molding.

Is this really the case, and if not, what part number am I looking for (for the clips)?
