2007 C230 Turning, Not Starting
So I'm coming up on the 2-year anniversary of the purchase of our C230 Sport. Four months ago we moved from sunny Southern California to now-frozen Northern Virginia. Recently, as the cold weather has come on (sub-freezing) the car has needed a little more encouragement to start up. Finally, two days ago, it just stopped altogether. She'll turn and turn, but the engine falls just short of firing up. All th electrical systems are fully operational. I settled on contacting MB Roadside Assistance and it was towed from our house yesterday. They took it to the dealer which, naturally, is closed for the weekend. I can't imagine what I could have done,if anything, to the car to bring this on. Of course, in the back of my mind I'm wondering what non-warrantied issue could make the car not start.
Basically, I'm looking for any input to ease my mind of the fears of a big payout to the dealership. Oh, and I'm about 8 days past the Service B.

the B service is irrelevant to the issue. could have water in the fuel..or a fuel pump issue...i see alot of fuel pumps with electrical connections burnt or melted where the harness plugs into the pump. or maybe its just a crank sensor issue. maybe just a bad key too.
