Default 2005 C240 Climate Control

I am having an issue with my CC. In auto mode, the blower fan does not come on high. For example, if is 80 degrees outside and the controls are set to 68, the blower use to turn on high and eventually turn down after reaching temperature. However, the blower just blows on low and the air does not feel hot or cold regardless of the temp setting. At present, the blower speed never changes. In manual mode, it does blow hot or cold. The Dealer is stating that the car is functioning correctly. I have multiple cars and I don't drive this car everday. In turn, maybe I am wrong; however, I am 99% sure the blower use to adjust to heat or cool the car quickly. Who's right, me or the Dealer? Second, what is the value of having Climate Control if the blower does not adjust to the temperature.

To be honest with you, the climate control on the C-Class has a brain of its own so I couldn't tell you what's normal or not.
