Hey guys,

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that if a person does not buy the Xenon lights during inital ordering, they are going to charge you 2500 for them? The website shows the lights for just 770 including washers....

Dealerships are incredible.....

Thanks!

That is correct if you want the Bi-xenon headlight you should get them when you order your car because the lighting package come with Bi-xenon and heated headlight washer for $716 if you order your car from Carsdirect.com otherwise you will get into a mess like me by not willing to pay $2500 at the dealer and that is only Bi-xenon headlight alone not including the installation.

So now I am planing to get my from either Performanceproducts or Engisoft that sell the same OEM light for $1600 install it myseft and take to the dealer to re-program it.

The problem is the dam dealer that I bought my car from claim he does not know anything about the re-program of the computer and have not call me back since I told him to double check it because both Performanceproducts and Engisoft told me that it is require to re-program the computer to tell it now the Bi-xenon is installed in the instrution manual.

I know someone (MBenzNL - Steve, his user ID)from MBworld.org selling bunch of Bi Xenons for $1200. thats the best deal so far. Many people have done business with him...excellent reputation. Check it out with him. Sometimes he gives out free installation.

Hey - Honestly the best place to buy them is on eBay. You can get the brand new and cheap and just have the dealership install them if you dont want to. I suggest going to a Benz dealer and asking them for a install price and how much they would charge and compare it to what you can get it for on ebay. Good luck. -JD
