Default 2004 c230 Kompressor transmission

66k miles. Took possession of car yesterday. Replaced O2 sensor before driving 3 hours on interstate. Transmission problem started after reaching destination and cool-down. At stop signs, engine revs to high rpms but transmission as if in neutral. Restarting car remedies. Research of problem points to fluid leak into wiring harness and possible damage of transmission control module. Also wondering if anyone has history about service campaign 2009100001 and how to determine if this car qualifies. I'm new to Mercedes and hope to avoid dealer service upsell for more than I need.
