2001 200k c class

2001 200k c class
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum, so please bear with me.
As you can see I have a 2001 200k c class and I like many have a clicking from behind the dash. I am aware that it is the stepper motor, but my question is :- am I able to get to this motor by taking out the instrument panel, as I am told this is relatively easy.
Any suggestions would be most helpful.
