Can anyone help with a problem on my C230 Kompressor. I have a recurring PO170 code, that comes and go's. All vacuum seems to be OK the MAF was changed. Fuel pressure is normal at 52 PSI. The car runs fine but I cannot get it through New Jersey inspection.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Had same problem few months ago on my 03 C230, p0170 code, changed both O2 sensors which solved the problem. Just got a p0304 code the other day with bad idle, will be working on that issue now.

 

Thanks for the advice. I put an OEM Bosch MAF in and the CEL went off. Went right through NJ inspection. Moral of the story, use only OEM parts. I had originally used an E-bay $65 dollar special. The strange thing is the car ran great with it in.
